Dress code and Uniform Policy

Girls Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 6:

• Red plaid split neck jumper
• Navy skorts
• Navy bike shorts under jumper
• Navy shorts, double pleated with cuff (elastic waist for PreK-K*)
• Navy pants, double pleated (elastic waist for PreK-K*)
• Navy, black, or khaki belt
• White long or short sleeved polo shirt with blue logo
• Solid navy sweater or fleece jacket or sweatshirt
• Solid dress black or brown shoes (No tie shoes in PreK-K*)
• Matching red, navy, white, or black solid-colored socks
• Not available at Rose Uniform

Young Ladies Grades 7-10:

• Red plaid kilt skirt
• Khaki skorts
• Khaki double pleated twill pants
• Khaki, navy, or black belt
• White long or short sleeved polo shirt with navy blue logo
• Solid navy sweater or fleece jacket or sweatshirt
• Solid dress black or brown shoes
• Matching red, navy, white, or black solid-colored socks or hose

Boys Pre-Kindergarten to Grades 6:

• Navy pants, double-pleated (elastic waist for PreK-K*)
• Navy shorts, double-pleated with cuff (elastic waist for PreK-K*)
• Navy, black, or khaki belt
• Powder blue long or short sleeved polo shirt with blue logo
• Solid navy sweater or fleece jacket or sweatshirt
• Solid black or brown dress shoes (No tie shoes in PreK-K*)
• Matching red, navy, white or black solid-colored socks

Young Men Grades 7-10:

• Khaki, double-pleated twill pants

The students are to dress in a neat, clean, appropriate, and modest manner. The uniform dress code provides for these objectives to be met. Parents, please be sure that your child(ren) arrive at school in proper school uniform. Solid black or brown dress shoes with matching laces are required. No white or color on shoes or laces. No sports shoes are allowed. Shoes for grades 7-10 of both sexes may NOT have open heels/toes or elevated heels..

Socks (or hose for girls in grades 7-10) are required.

All shirts must be HVCA uniform with logo. Scarves and ties are not part of the school uniform and should not be worn.

Undershirts(long or short sleeves) are permitted but must be white with no logo or writing and must be tucked in. Only long sleeved undershirts may show below uniform sleeve.

Only solid blue or white tights or natural hosiery are acceptable leg coverings under skirts/skorts.

No pants are allowed to show under skirts.

Outerwear that is worn in the building must be a solid navy fleece jacket, or navy knit sweater, or plain non-faded sweatshirt with no logo or writing. Heavy jackets cannot be worn inside classrooms but may be worn outside.

Underwear other than undershirts should never show.
No caps or sunglasses are to be worn in the building.
Hair must be kept out of the eyes, not interfering with school/class activities.

WHEN IN THE CLASSROOM or HALLWAYS, STUDENTS MUST BE WITHIN DRESS CODE POLICY, even during lunch time or recess time.
