Pre K & K

The new year has brought lots of new and exciting changes for Kindergarten. Phone-mic Awareness continues to grow for our Pre-K students while Kindergarten is “Stepping into Reading.” Our class was se-lected to pilot the North American Division’s Stepping Stones Program – an amazing the-matic program that integrates music, art, science, reading and math with a bible les-son. (It is similar to the Pathways Program.) This month we are learning about Balto, a dog who journeyed far to help some sick children get well. Through this story we are reminded that Jesus cares for us and has given us everything so that we may have life and have it in abundance.
Our memory verse for the month is: “I will be with you and take care of you.” Jeremiah 1:19 Please practice this verse with your child.
