What I like about my students:
They are so loving and fun to be with. They are eager to learn and experience new things. They teach me!

How I would describe my personality:
I always try to be positive, happy, honest, punctual, reliable, loving, helpful, a good listener. Mostly I believe that the way we live our lives in everything we say and do is a witness to others. I stive to make that witness be to the glory of God.

How I feel about teaching at HVCA:
I love it! I feel I have been blessed with this awesome opportunity. My family had several major issues we'd been praying about. Some of them for a couple of years. God amazingly answered nearly all of them with the move to HVCA. My colleagues are great group of people and the children in my class are wonderful.

How I feel about my relationship with God + How I think a Christian's life is:
I haven't always been a Christian. In fact most people still consider me a "baby Christian". When I first started my walk with Jesus I was told "God accepts you as you are but He won't leave you that way." I didn't see how I could or even needed to change. As I spent time in prayer, Bible study, and in church worship I did change not all at once some things actually took years. I am still growing and learning. I pray that I will never stop. Only by the grace + mercy of our Lord have I come to where I am as a Christian and a person. I still have trials just like everyone but I know that God not only knows what is best for me but He knows when is best and He wants what is best for all of us. I believe if we put our trust in Him. He will carry us through. I plan to never again journey without my saviour to guide me.

Do you sometimes get frustrated with students:
Never!

If yes, do you ever think of giving up on them or the profession? How do you get through it?
I pray a lot! And I claim Bible promises such as Philippians 4:13; 1 Corinthians 10:13; Matthew 28:20; 1 Peter 1:6-7; 1 Peter 5:10, Psalm 23. I rely on God for His strength + guidance. I remember that He has brought each one of us (students, teachers, bus drivers...) all have for a purpose.

From a poster: "Sometimes the ones that are the hardest to love need it the most."
