My Favorite Bible Promise Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you says the Lord.Thoughts of peace to give you a future and hope." What I Like About HVCA I like the relation ships the students have with their teacher. I like the work we have, which is hard at time, because it helps us to be more advanced than other schools. My Favorite Subjects
When I Grow Up ... I want to be a doctor, but I haven't decided yet. My Focus Questions Which would be better: live a rocky life but end up repentant [like Samson]; fight the Lord’s battles but end up in apostasy [like Gideon]? Is there a third option that is better than these two? Explain. I believe that life is hard and we have many challenges that we face that takes us away from God’s main purpose for us. I believe that it is better to have a rocky life but end up repenting. The reason is because that we all make mistakes in our live and we all need forgiveness when God does that for us it shows us how much He cares. This hopefully leads us to repentance. I think that God is happier if we finish the race instead of starting it then giving up. Another option that is better for us is to have worked to keep our relationship with God from the beginning. This would save us from a lot of spiritual problems and emotional problems. Instead of long hair, are their outward “symbols of loyalty” we should have so that others know we are devoted to God? I believe that the way we dressed is an outward “symbol of loyalty” to God. It shows people that we care about the way we look and want dress as God would want us to dress or look. Another outward symbol is the way we speak if we speak properly, kindly, and the way God want us to talk to our neighbors it shows our commitment to Him. We must remember as followers of Christ we must look different form the world they way they dress, talk, and act. What in your background makes you wonder whether God would ever choose you as a leader? Something that is in my background that makes me wonder whether God would ever choose me as a leader is the way I treat other people. At time I am very self -centered and not caring to anyone else feelings. I am sometimes very rude and stubborn which all bad characteristic that I am working with. I do believe that if God wants to put me in a position of authority there is a purpose and He believed that I can do it. How should people respond to God if He gave them a miraculous sign every time someone asked? The way people would respond if God gave them a miraculous sign every time they asked would be that God is a vending machine you put your request in and straight comes out the answer. They wouldn’t really want to build a relationship with Him but just use Him. The respect level would be very low because they would think they could walk all over God. They would know how to trust God because they didn’t learn how to. That is why I believe that God want us to trust Him when He tell us He is going to do something for us.
What do you think is God’s wish for you? Can you give Him His wish? I know what God wishes for me because He tells me in Jeremiah 29, 11-13. He says that He wants me to prosper, have hope, and a future. These wishes God want for me is what I want for myself. I would love to fulfill these wishes. These wishes show me how loving God really is. Are there certain places that are especially “holy”? Explain why, how. I believe there are certain places that are especially holy, for example I believe a church is holy. A church is where God really can communicate with us. We don’t need to be in a church for God to communicate with us. I believe that a church environment just brings the perfect opportunity for Him to talk with us. Any place where God is present is holy. Can a person become too rich? Why or why not? How rich is too rich? I don’t believe a person can become to rich. I believe prosperity is a blessing from God. I know that God wants to continually bless us. He wants to bless you through all parts of our lives. He shows His love through His blessing. What is the difference between being wise and being smart? I believe that the difference of being smart and wise is the kind of wisdom you are trying to possess. I believe that Solomon’s wisdom is the wisdom everyone should want. That is the kind of wisdom that is in accordance with God’s will. So Solomon’s wisdom is following the law of God and acting on it by your actions. Being smart is knowledge and I considerer wisdom to be more than knowledge.
