My Focus Questions

Why do you think God called David a man after God's own heart”?

Because God doesn’t see the outer appearance He looked deep inside of him, and the good in him. David did sin but he truly confessed in God’s presence and God knew his heart was noble and true when he confessed and truly wanted to repent.

Can you think of a sin that affects only you? Explain.

I don’t think there’s a sin that affects only me because all the temptations that I have weaknesses with I can relate them with my friends.

After we’ve made a mistake, how can we know that we are forgiven and still “loved by the Lord”?

By feeling that peace and us feeling a burden lifting off of us. We can also relate to the Holy Scriptures and His promises. We can surely know that God will always love us and be forgiven.

How can Jesus be our friend if we never actually see or touch Him?

By reading the bible, and earnest prayer we can know that God is real in our life. But if we don’t read the bible and don’t try to talk to God, how can we get to know Him?

What do you think is God’s wish for you? Can you give Him His wish?

I think God’s wish for me is having finding my purpose for life and the only way I can do that is by asking God and relying in Him. By Jesus leading my life instead of me leading my life. Jesus holding my hand instead of me holding to His hand because I can fall and never get up.

Are there certain places that are especially “holy”? Explain why, how.

Church is a holy place where everybody comes with one thought with one purpose to worship God That’s where God’s spirit is, where God can direct you and teach you new things. Also where the preacher preaches is a holy place because God talks through him.

Can a person become too rich? Why or why not? How rich is too rich?

Yes if he knows how to administrate his money, so many poor people have raised where they’re at because they know what they’re doing. Also there is a downfall because if you forget about God and do wicked things, God can take those riches away because you are leading others astray and yourself.

What is the difference between being wise and being smart?

The difference between wise and being smart is that being wise is that you know how to conduct yourself in life and you know how to think spiritually and also in material things in earth. Being smart knows all the answers here in earth but that’s about it.
