Loving (motherly), caring, forgiving, goal oriented, organized.

How I feel about teaching at HVCA:

I love teaching at HVCA. It is challenging but rewarding, I like working with children from diverse cultures.

How I feel about my relationship with God:

I feel I have a good realtionship with God but continually try to improve it.

How you think a Christian's life would be:

A Christian's life is not without difficulty, we have the same problems and have bad things happen to us just as everyone else. The difference is that we know that God loves us and will work things out. We have hope and if we are faithful will one day go to heaven and live with Him, this hope gets us through the bad times.

Do you sometimes get frustrated with students:

Since teachers are only human, we will get frustrated with students. I want to teach them. However, they are not always willing to learn. These can be frustrating. But it is so rewarding when a child suddenly understand a hard concept and says, "Wow! I understand." So the joys of teaching outweight the frustration.

If yes, do you ever think of giving up on them or the profession? How do you get through it?

I have never thought of giving up. Even when I have an especially difficult class, I try to see what they can become and not what they are now. How can you give up on children when you love them?
