Danielle Tanis (Buttercup)!!! Danielle has been doing very well in my Algebra class and I am very proud of her. She is a fun-loving individual who truly cares about her peers. She is a wonderful and friend to have. Thanks Buttercup.

What I like about my students:
They teach me so much about life. Their issues become my issue. Their happiness becomes my happiness, the ups and downs they go through will help shape their lives, and if also helps me shape my life
How I would describe my personality:
I'll leave that for others to describe. I know I am warm and fuzzy.
How I feel about teaching at HVCA:
LOVE IT! The students are the reason I keep coming back.
How I feel about my relationship with God:
The most life changing event of my life. He has richly blessed me and I want to reciprocate that blessing
How you think a Christian's life should be:
True to the path that Jesus has set for you and had walked Himself.
Do you sometimes get frustrated with students? If yes, do you ever think of giving up on them or the profession? How do you get through it?
Absolutely. Usually when they don't reach a standard that I know and they know they can reach.
I do not give up on students. Unfortunately, they sometimes give up on themselves which makes my challenge even more difficult.
Questioning whether or not you are doing the right thing in your life is healthy. God invariably puts me at ease in my decision to stay here at HVCA.
